The NoAlan sits on 187 Angel Lake Road in Weaver, Alabama — a stretch of quiet shoreline, a ballroom, a balcony that catches the afternoon light, and a bridal suite that feels like a pause in the middle of the day.
It's owned and run by Steven and Brooke Lee. Every tour, every planning call, every question — it goes through them, not a central office. That's by design: we've been to the weddings where the venue felt like a transaction, and we didn't want to build one of those.
The NoAlan started the way a lot of good things do — by accident. When Brooke and Steven first walked through the building, they were looking for space for their retail business. What they found instead was a ballroom with a view of the water they couldn't stop thinking about. After their first event, they stopped thinking about inventory and started thinking about what it would feel like to share this place with people on the best days of their lives.
The name comes from their son, Noah Alan. The business is their way of building something that works around the life they're building for their kids — not the other way around. When you come here to celebrate the people you love, that's the spirit you're walking into.
